Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, the Father, the creator, sustainer and ruler of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1).

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the eternal and only begotten Son of God (John 1), born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead, now seated at the right hand of God and will return again.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, who convicts men and women of sin and guides them into all truth. We believe that there is one baptism of the Holy Spirit that takes place when we are immersed into Christ and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).

We believe in the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and infallible and inerrant in the original writings (1 Timothy 3:16).

We believe in Salvation through Christ, that we are saved by grace, through faith (Ephesians 2:8), at our baptism (Acts 2:38,1 Peter 3:21). Confession of the Lordship of Christ (Romans 10:9) and a renouncing and repentance (Acts 2:38, 3:19) of our old, sinful way of life are all of faith and a part of the process.

We believe in Communion, as given by Christ to all believers weekly as the early church did (Acts 2:42, 20:7) in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice to partake in the emblems.

We believe in Stewardship of Giving, given as a response of a grateful heart and are called to give as God enables. We believe that our giving should be cheerful, planned and proportionate (1 Corinthians 16:1, 2; 2 Corinthians 9:7).
